Am I the Only Person Who Wants A Simple Mobile?
OK. This is for all you Nokia PR hacks watching Vox to see if your campaign is working:
Enough Already!
All I want is a phone. If it can replace my mp3 player, great. But seriously, here are my needs in a mobile:
- Phone calls
- SMS
- Time
- Vibrate
- Monochrome screen
- Send any bloody MMS messages to my email
Maybe I am the only person on Earth who just wants a phone, not a multimedia suite...
I understand that many people want what the N-series offers. But not everyone. Some of us just want a mobile. Why aren't we catered for?

That's one of their strategies to get us to keep 'upgrading' - besides using poor quality parts that greatly reduces the life-span of phones. I remember the electronic items that were produced in the 70s, they tend to last and last and last. Is what we are currently witnessing 'technological progress', or its progress being tempered by the need for constant markets, and thus, profits. The advent of the fully indoctrinated 'consumer' leaves this question unanswered, if at all inquired after.
